Before we go over individual oils, lets cover some oil safety.
Carrier Oils and common sense (yes, there's an oil for that) are the two most important things to consider with using EO safety. Carrier oils, unlike essential oils, are made of large fatty molecules. If sensitivity occurs on contact with an EO, use a carrier to dilute it (NEVER water). The fatty carrier oil will slow and dilute absorption of the EO, thereby decreasing discomfort.
Oils aren’t just great for you, but for your kids, pets, and the environment! Here is a helpful guide about dilution rates for “littles.” Since they are smaller than us, they can detox more easily, making dilution a good idea. Young Living also has an entire line of products formulated especially for kids called, “KidScents,” which even includes pre-diluted oils!
